JUMPS :  Event Specific Development Workshop

Sandy Robertson British Athletics Mastercoach, is the tutor on the SportCentral High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump and Pole Vault course on Saturday 25th Aprill 2009 at Grangemouth Stadium.

An author on the Community Run, Jump, Throw ; ‘I Can’ resource and on the new Elevating Athletics teaching resource, he will base the course on his teaching experience to deliver engaging sessions that focus on skill-mastery, biomechanics, maximum participation and enjoyment.

As such, the course will be ideal for teachers and coaches of teenagers and even pre-teens.

These workshops will also help volunteers working in schools and communities to improve their confidence and coaching skills.

Some young athletes will be in attendance to demonstrate progressions and skill-mastering,
