Rikki Lapsley and Kevin Wright both took Gold medals at Grangemouth on Wednesday at Grangemouth Stadium.  Over 250 competitors came together to compete for medals in the Scottish Disability Sport National Track and Field Championships.

Both Rikki and Kevin are former pupils of Carrongrange School and are current members of the SportCentral Regional Athletics Squad. 

Both Rikki and Kevin won gold with excellent performances in the Long Jump beating their counterparts from Tayside and Fife but the event didn’t finish their for Kevin who went on to take another Gold medal in the 100m.  He finished the race in 13.4 seconds, three hundredths of a second ahead of the Silver medallist from the Highlands.
