
| Regional Squad Swimmer Selected for National Team to Compete at Ponds Forge |

Stirling University student Keith Gray from Bo’ness was selected to be part of the Scottish National Team competing in the DSE Seniors Short Course Home Nations Event at Ponds Forge International Sports Arena in Sheffield. Keith who is nineteen years of age trains with Bo’ness Swimming Club, the SportCentral Regional Development Squad and at the National Centre of Excellence at Stirling University. He had a busy competition and swam against swimmers from England, Ireland and Wales in the 50m and 100m Freestyle and Backstroke as well as the 100m Breaststroke and the 400 Freestyle. It was a good event for Keith who was happy with his performance and achieved personal bests in 50m, 100m and 400m Freestyle. Although he just missed out on a medal position in the 100m Breaststroke he also acheived a personal best in this event. |
