Pictured above is Ryan Anderson, a pupil at Carronshore Primary School in Falkirk who represented Forth Valley at the Scottish Open Boccia Championships on Saturday 2nd June.

The 2007 Scottish Open Boccia Championships were held at Easterhouse Sports Centre in Glasgow.   Over 40 competitors from across Scotland competed in the championships of 2007. 

This was Ryan’s second National Competition this year and he remained composed as he played against more experienced players to take the Silver Medal in the Junior Plate Competition.
