There is a need for more coaches in the Central area to be trained in disability awareness as well as sportspecific coach education and training to enable the development of participation programmes in the central area.

This need will be met through a co-ordinated approach to a comprehensive coach education and training programme.

Coach Mentoring

Coach mentoring will be offered to coaches delivering local and regional programmes to allow them to develop as coaches and improve the quality of training offered to athletes.
