Coach Development evening a huge success.

Despite the dreadful weather over 120 coaches attended a free football Coach Development evening on Friday night at Recreation Park, Alloa.  The evening was organised by SportCentral and supported by the SFA Central Region.

The night was a great success with Jeff Flitcroft, Development Centre coach for Manchester Utd delivering 2 sessions on Goalkeeping and positive runs for outfield players.

SportCentral Youth Football Manager Alan Morgan added ‘ I was delighted with the attendance despite the weather conditions and I’m sure the coaches came away with a lot of good content to take back to their clubs.  Many thanks go to Alloa Athletic F.C for the use of Recreation Park and the youth players who provided a great standard to deliver the session.  Thanks also go to the 3 Local Development Officers but most of all to Jeff for coming back up to deliver another great In-Service for local coaches.’
