Scottish Football Association The principal objects of the Association are to promote, foster and develop in all its branches the game of Association football in Scotland, and to take all steps as may be deemed necessary or advisable to prevent infringements of the rules of the game, thus protecting the game from abuses. To achieve these objectives, the principal services offered by the Association are: Youth Action Plan Taking the Programme of work forward is Alan MacNab (Implementation Manager), Jim Fleeting (Director of Football Development), Tommy McIntyre (Assistant Director of Football Development), Sheila Begbie (Head of Girls and Women) as well as six new Scottish FA regional managers and 46 Football Development Officers from around Scotland. All are working with our national and regional partners to increase player participation numbers and ultimately produce better players for the Scotland football teams of the future. With 6 Regional Partnerships the Central Regional Partnership includes the Local Authority areas of Clackmannanshire, East Dunbartonshire, Falkirk, North Lanarkshire, Stirling and West Dunbartonshire as well as representation from SportCentral , the Scottish Football Association (SFA), Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA), Scottish Schools Football Association (SSFA) and the Scottish Women's Football Association (SWF), in addition to a number of other key deliverers of football in the Area. |
