Congratulations go to Hillfoots Gymnastics Club on successfully completing the GymMark Club Development programme and becoming the first club in Central to gain GymMark accreditation.
GymMark is the club quality mark for gymnastics and is the seal of approval that guarantees that a gymnastics club is safe, child friendly, and effective. In addition the GymMark programme provides clubs with an excellent Club Development Support Pack that contains all the tools and templates to operate effectively and to successful complete the GymMark programme.

Coach Resource Manual
SportCentral is pleased to announce the publication of a gymnastics coach resource manual aimed at helping new and existing coaches to plan, co-ordinate and deliver more effective gymnastics sessions for their gymnasts. This new resource contains good practise reference material covering warm ups, physical preparation, planning, club organisation, recreational and club programme delivery; and also includes practical examples and customisable templates to aid coaches before, during, after sessions.
The manual has been provided free to local Central coaches on the mentoring programme, local Sports Development, and clubs. Hopefully coaches will find this to be a useful practical tool that they can share, use and re-use to enhance their gymnast's development. Included is a CD copy of the contents to allow reproduction and adaption of the resource material and templates.
