At the Park Hotel Falkirk on Friday night local gymnastics club Falkirk Infinity were presented with the Scottish  General Gymnastics Team of the year award for 2006.

This was a very prestige awards dinner with gymnasts and their families coming from all over Great Britain to collect their awards.

The trophy was presented by Bunny Warren, Deputy President of British Gymnastics for Falkirk Infinity as the only Scottish Club to represent Great Britain in the 2006 Eurogym event if Ghent in Belgium.

Receiving the award on behalf of the club were :- Rebbeca Wilson, Jenna Welsh, Hannah Moffat, Lisa Rushford, Kirsty Smith, Nicola Wilson, Ailsa McLuckie, Stacey Edmiston, Kayleigh Milne, Kayleigh Skinner, Lyndsay McLuckie and Beth Gloag.

Jean Callahan the event organiser for Scottish Gymnastics was delighted that a local team was among the award winners. She said “The girls are a credit to Falkirk and Scotland.”
