There are currently five competitive swimming clubs in the Central area - Alloa ASC, Bo'ness ASC, Falkirk Otters, Grangemouth ASC and Stirling ASC. Bo'ness and Falkirk together form the FIRST training squad. In order to determine the position of each club and to identify individual and combined areas for development, a club audit was carried out and completed by March 2007. The purpose of this was to provide baseline data for the SportCentral swimming strategy and action plan. The data generated from this audit also provided essential information on coaches, volunteers and officials active in the Central area.
